In a widely circulated video addressing his followers, Nwanosike expressed dissatisfaction with the ethnic politics causing tension between Wike and Fubara. He asserted that Governor Fubara lacks the competence to effectively wield the power entrusted to him.

Nwanosike further contended that Wike played a pivotal role in securing federal appointments for Ijaw individuals. He emphasized, “Under Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, more Ijaw sons and daughters have received significant political appointments in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

He defended Wike’s decision to empower the Ijaw people, stating, “He gave them the power, not because he was afraid of them. He gave them the power for equity, fairness, and justice.”
