Prompted by public outcry, President Bola Tinubu suspended Edu and directed the EFCC to conduct a thorough investigation into the financial irregularities. Olukoyede, in a statement conveyed by the EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, affirmed that corruption would find no refuge under Tinubu’s administration. He expressed confidence in the conducive atmosphere created by Tinubu for anti-graft activities and stressed that every Nigerian is subject to investigation for corruption allegations.
