Haller, who netted the decisive goal in Ivory Coast’s AFCON semi-final victory against DR Congo, shared his sentiments during his pre-match press conference ahead of the final.

Having missed the Group A encounter against Nigeria due to injury, the 29-year-old is eager to contribute significantly in the final match.

Responding to questions about his thoughts on the Nigerian defense, Haller expressed, “We are aware of the style of play of the Nigerian team. It’s anticipated to be a physically intense game. Our objective is to pose challenges and exploit any weaknesses they may have.”

“While the defenders may possess similar physical attributes to mine, we are determined to deliver an outstanding performance tomorrow. Naturally, as a striker, I feel the pressure, especially regarding scoring goals. This pressure is a shared responsibility. Strikers thrive under such circumstances.”
