Responding to the PDP Governors’ press conference comparing Nigeria to Venezuela, Uzodinma criticized the disloyalty of those in positions of authority who fail to acknowledge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts to improve the situation. Despite the PDP listing economic issues, Uzodinma noted their failure to provide a single solution.

Expressing satisfaction that the PDP endorsed the removal of the gasoline subsidy, Uzodinma defended President Tinubu’s efforts to revive the economy. He urged the PDP, especially its governors, to counsel patience among Nigerians instead of tarnishing the nation’s image abroad, warning against leaders agitating the populace against the government as a grave disservice.

Uzodinma argued that veiled incitement against the Federal Government, especially amidst a 14-day strike notice by organized labor, was counterproductive. He called for constructive engagement within the National Economic Council instead of mere criticism or blame games, emphasizing that temporary hardships resulting from economic policies would eventually give way to prosperity.
