Addressing his followers in Oyo State, Igboho conveyed his message in Yoruba, emphasizing the need for unity among Nigerians from the South-West to confront the challenges posed by armed Fulani herders in the region.

Contrary to popular belief, Igboho clarified, “Many people think Tinubu destroyed the government, Tinubu didn’t destroy the government.” He expressed frustration with Yoruba elders who, in his view, are now complaining about hunger, emphasizing that during Buhari’s tenure, he had been advocating for collective action to alleviate the suffering in the region.

Igboho drew attention to the proactive measures taken by the Igbo community, highlighting their success in reclaiming their lands from Fulani herders and engaging in agricultural activities without impediment. He urged the Yoruba community to unite and similarly reclaim their ancestral lands, allowing their parents to return to farming without fear.

The comments were made by Sunday Igboho during a gathering in Oyo State, as reported by Linda Ikeji on February 23, 2024.
