The renowned rapper and fashion icon took to Instagram to express his frustration, claiming that Adidas has been selling “fake” Yeezy 350s without his consent.

In a video shared on Monday, February 26, Kanye West made bold allegations against Adidas, stating that the company is not only distributing colorways that he has not approved but also suing him for a staggering $250 million. He accused Adidas of exploiting contractual clauses and decades of business experience to take advantage of artists like himself.

Furthermore, West emphasized that he is not receiving compensation for these unauthorized Yeezy releases bearing his name. He urged his followers not to purchase these “fake” Yeezys, highlighting that he has not endorsed or profited from their sales.

This isn’t the first time Kanye West has clashed with Adidas over the Yeezy brand. In 2022, tensions arose between the two parties when Adidas announced a review of their partnership. At that time, West publicly criticized Adidas, alleging that the company had “raped and stole” his designs.

While Adidas has not responded directly to West’s recent allegations, the company previously stated that it retained sole ownership of design rights for Yeezy products under their partnership. However, West’s claims have sparked debate and garnered attention across social media platforms.
