Prophet Ritabbi, a Nigerian clergyman, has strongly advised men against forgiving their unfaithful wives. In a recently circulated video, the clergyman, delivering a sermon in his church, recounted an incident where a man discovered his wife’s infidelity and sought guidance on how to handle the situation.
In response, Prophet Ritabbi candidly expressed, “I am not a hypocrite; do whatever you want. Approach her and say, ‘Darling, cease your associations with other men. Your actions have deeply wounded me. Please refrain from repeating this, as you know I cherish you. You are a beautiful woman, and I implore you not to hurt me again.'” He emphasized that a man catching his wife in such an act would naturally experience a profound emotional impact.
The clergyman pointed out that the Bible allows for divorce, citing Jesus’ exception for adultery. He argued that when a woman is caught in the act, the emotional connection is severed, and any man claiming otherwise is either deceptive or lacks genuine love for his spouse.
Prophet Ritabbi further asserted that it might be preferable for a husband not to be aware of his wife’s infidelity, as in such cases, the woman tends to maintain respect for her partner. However, if a man chooses to forgive and retain his unfaithful wife, the respect within the relationship is likely to diminish.
