Arrest Sunday Igboho For Treason – MACBAN Tells Tinubu....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has called upon President Bola Tinubu to take decisive action against Yoruba nation advocate Sunday Adeyemi, popularly known as Igboho, urging his arrest and prosecution. MACBAN drew parallels between Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), asserting that if Kanu could be apprehended and prosecuted, the same standards should be applied to Igboho.
Baba Othman Ngelzarma, the National President of MACBAN, expressed concern in response to Igboho’s recent statements, where he called for the removal of Fulani herders from the Southwest, accusing them of killing farmers. Ngelzarma deemed Igboho’s remarks as unlawful and tantamount to treason.
In a statement issued and signed by Ngelzarma, MACBAN called upon President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and relevant security agencies to act swiftly in arresting and prosecuting Sunday Igboho. The association argued that Igboho’s advocacy for the realization of the Oduduwa nation, coupled with his alleged unlawful statements, should not go unpunished. MACBAN emphasized the need for consistency in the application of legal consequences, citing Nnamdi Kanu’s detention as a precedent for addressing similar offenses.
