Ogunlewe Urges Tinubu Supporters To Stop Blaming Buhari for Economic Challenges....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
A former Minister of Works and Housing, Adeseye Ogunlewe, has advised appointees of President Bola Tinubu to refrain from attributing the current economic challenges in the nation to former President Muhammadu Buhari. Ogunlewe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), deemed it unfounded and unnecessary to hold Buhari accountable for the present socio-economic issues, emphasizing that he is no longer in power.
In a conversation with TheCable on Thursday, Ogunlewe urged Tinubu and his team to concentrate on fulfilling their electoral promises and actively addressing the country’s problems. He emphasized the futility of blaming the past administration and stressed the importance of focusing on the tasks at hand.
Ogunlewe cited Tinubu’s acceptance of responsibility for both the successes and challenges of the Buhari administration, quoting Tinubu’s commitment to delivering on the promises that secured him the presidency. The former minister discouraged the habit of constantly mentioning Buhari’s name, asserting that it is time to concentrate on the actions and plans of the current administration.
Furthermore, Ogunlewe expressed satisfaction with President Tinubu’s performance during his nine months in office, appealing to Nigerians for patience as Tinubu works towards stabilizing the nation. He affirmed his confidence in Tinubu’s ability to address the issues at hand and emphasized the necessity of granting him the time required to heal the nation and propel it forward.
