Foreign Workers Liberated From Captivity In Lagos Building, Rescuers Detail Operation....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

50 individuals, including children, hailing from neighbouring African countries, were recently rescued by law enforcement in Lagos State.
Discovered in a duplex situated on Omola Road, within the Edemola locality of Epe, Lagos, these individuals, all foreign nationals, had fallen prey to a syndicate of fraudulent job recruiters.
Primarily comprising citizens of Cameroon and Gabon, these victims found themselves at the Okeoyibo Police Division subsequent to their rescue.
Investigations conducted by the authorities unveiled a distressing narrative wherein these individuals had been lured by the ringleaders of a Cameroonian job scam, promising lucrative employment prospects within Nigeria.
Having parted with undisclosed sums of money to these fraudsters in pursuit of job opportunities in Nigeria, some victims reportedly resorted to liquidating their assets, including homes, back in their countries of origin.
Upon arrival, instead of finding gainful employment, they were confined within the duplex, under strict instructions not to venture outside until securing the promised jobs.
Shockingly, it was revealed that several among them had languished within the confines of the building for a period of six months.
SP Benjamin Hudenyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, disclosed that a total of 34 individuals were rescued from this ordeal. He further noted that the principal suspect had absconded to Cameroon.
Hudenyin elucidated, stating, “They are not victims of abduction; rather, they fell victim to deceit by certain individuals from Cameroon, who purported the existence of employment opportunities in Nigeria, thereby leaving them stranded after depleting their resources. All of them have been safely relocated to the police station.”
“The mastermind remains at large. He orchestrated a scheme wherein he provided them with identical arrival dates, collected their funds upon their arrival, instructed them to remain within the confines of the designated premises, and subsequently vanished, reneging on his promise to return, leaving them abandoned and disillusioned,” Hudenyin added.
