A man identified as Bobby Kabah, along with his pregnant wife, tragically lost their lives in an appalling incident involving suspected cultists in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State on Wednesday, March 19.

According to reports from Punch, a resident of the community, who opted to remain anonymous, disclosed that Kabah and his pregnant wife were relaxing at home in Agidiasei quarters when two armed assailants entered their residence around 8:35 pm and mercilessly shot them.

“Bobby was at home with his partner due to his recent leg injury from a motorcycle accident. The gunmen entered through the rear of the house, encountering him and his pregnant wife before opening fire, resulting in the tragic demise of both,” the source recounted.

Confirming the distressing incident, SP Bright Edafe, the spokesperson of the state police command, affirmed, “Yes, it is confirmed. They were not formally married but cohabiting and were both slain in the same household.” He further stated that the Commissioner of Police has directed the case to be forwarded to the state CID for thorough investigation.
