Hajiya Fatima Zubairu, the mother of Ummulkhulsum “Ummita” Buhari, who was tragically killed by her Chinese boyfriend, Frank Geng Quarong, has voiced approval for the death sentence handed down to Quarong by the Kano State High Court.

Quarong, a resident of Kano, was found guilty on a charge of culpable homicide and was subsequently sentenced to death by hanging.

In response to the court’s decision, the victim’s mother addressed reporters, expressing her contentment with the judge’s ruling.

She remarked, “Though I am deeply saddened by the loss of my daughter, I find solace in the fact that justice has been served.
