During the visit, the traditional ruler extended his warm wishes for the Eid-el-Fitr celebration to the President. The meeting between the two prominent figures underscores the importance of cultural and political interactions in Lagos.

In a separate event, former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, also visited President Tinubu at his Lagos home to mark the festive occasion. Oshiomhole expressed confidence in the unity and readiness of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State ahead of the forthcoming governorship election.

Addressing reporters after the meeting, Oshiomhole highlighted the APC’s preparedness for the election and the establishment of a Campaign Council to lead the party’s efforts. He also briefed Tinubu on the political developments in Edo State, emphasizing the support received from the President.

The visit by both the Oba of Lagos and Oshiomhole signifies the significance of political and cultural engagements during festive periods, reflecting the dynamism of Nigerian politics and traditions.
