It has come to our attention that certain individuals or groups are engaging in the malicious act of impersonating the Honorable Minister across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), WhatsApp, and others. . These impersonators are using fake and fictitious profiles to disseminate false information, mislead the public, and potentially engage in fraudulent activities.

The Ministry views this trend with utmost seriousness, as it not only tarnishes the reputation of the Minister but also poses significant risks to unsuspecting members of the public who may fall victim to misinformation and scams.

In light of these developments, the Ministry urges the public to exercise caution and vigilance when interacting with online content purportedly associated with the Minister. We advise citizens to verify the authenticity of any social media profile claiming to represent the Minister or the Ministry, especially if it solicits personal information, financial resources, or promotes misleading narratives.

Additionally, efforts are underway to raise awareness among the public about the risks associated with fake social media profiles and provide guidance on how to identify and report such instances effectively.
