Mohammed Adam Erena, who held the role of Special Adviser to Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago on Labour Matters, has passed away, according to reports. Governor Bago confirmed this unfortunate event through his chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, expressing deep sorrow over the loss. The governor underlined the significance of Erena’s contributions to the state, praising his dedication as a public servant and his tireless efforts in advancing Niger State’s development.

Governor Bago extended prayers for Erena’s soul to find peace in Aljannah Firdausi, urging his family to find solace in faith and patience, recognizing the divine will. Erena, who once served as the Secretary to the State Government during the tenure of former Governor Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure, devoted his career to various roles, including leadership positions in labor unions and government agencies.

His funeral ceremony drew attendance from dignitaries including Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba, Secretary to the State Government Abubakar Usman, and other government officials, along with numerous sympathizers.
