The Lagos State Government has revealed the presence of yet another unauthorized settlement beneath the Osborne Bridge in the Ikoyi area of the South West state. Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, disclosed this information via a post accompanied by videos on Thursday.
Wahab stated that the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESCO), commonly known as KAI, has initiated immediate clearance operations at the illegal settlement.
In his social media update, Wahab shared videos of the discovery, stating, “Another unauthorized settlement was found beneath the Osborne Bridge, Ikoyi. Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps #LAGESCOfficial (KAI) has commenced immediate clearance operation.”
