Adeyinka, UK Blogger, Counters Police Allegations Of Invitation Ignorance....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

A Nigerian blogger residing in the United Kingdom, Dorcas Adeyinka, refutes allegations of neglecting a police invitation regarding accusations of cyber-stalking and abduction. The Nigeria Police Force recently declared Adeyinka wanted in a Special Police Gazette Bulletin, citing allegations such as injurious falsehood, threats to life, and extortion.

In the bulletin, Adeyinka was identified as a Yoruba woman with specific physical attributes, including tribal marks, and her last known address was stated as 833 Woolick Road in the UK.

Responding to these claims, Adeyinka’s lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, issued a statement on her behalf. He emphasized that his client had always cooperated with the police and had not avoided any invitation regarding the allegations. He criticized the police for what he deemed a misguided declaration, highlighting that the allegations stemmed from a social media dispute involving certain individuals.

Olajengbesi further clarified that Adeyinka had sought police assistance after her private images were maliciously circulated online, leading to harassment. He pointed out previous instances where Adeyinka faced baseless charges that were eventually dismissed due to lack of evidence. Despite this, she remained committed to legal procedures and had been communicating with the police regarding the investigation.

The lawyer expressed surprise at the police’s decision to declare Adeyinka wanted, especially when her availability was evident, as she had attended a public event just the day before. He urged for a fair and just process, reaffirming Adeyinka’s commitment to cooperating with the authorities.

In the statement, Olajengbesi also mentioned reaching out to appropriate channels to arrange a suitable date for Adeyinka to comply with the investigative process.
