He further expressed his optimism and prayers for the eventual restoration of stability in Rivers State, emphasizing its significance within the nation. Kukah remarked, “This is politics. I’m very hopeful, we ordinary people cry more than the bereaved. The important thing is that politicians will fix their problems.”
