Sokoto Police Detain Three Bandits’ Informants Linked To Kidnapping Of Female Lawyer
The Sokoto State Command has apprehended three individuals believed to be involved in the abduction of Rukayyat Mustafa, a female lawyer. According to ASP Ahmed Rufai, the suspects allegedly provided information to the bandits leading to the kidnapping incident in the Bado area of the state capital. The spokesman confirmed that the abduction occurred in the early hours of Sunday, May 26, 2024. The bandits reportedly seized Rukayyat and another individual, presumed to be her younger brother, before fleeing to a waiting vehicle. The detained suspects are under investigation, with hopes of swiftly resolving the case and securing Rukayyat’s safe return.
