Officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Enugu Zonal Command, have apprehended Nweke Daniel Kelechi and Iroude Chibuzor on suspicion of currency racketeering involving N850,000. The arrests were made during a sting operation near the United Bank for Africa (UBA), ESBS, in Enugu, following actionable intelligence and surveillance. During the operation, Chibuzor was initially taken into custody, but it was revealed that he was acting under the direction of Kelechi, who authorized him to sell new notes.
