Actor Daniel Etim-Effiong Reveals Unexpected Reaction After Hugging Female Pastor

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong has shared a personal experience in church that he says had a profound impact on his faith and led him to deeper reflection.

He recounted the incident during a podcast interview with Ifedayo Agoro, explaining that it occurred shortly before a Sunday service when he arrived early and met some church ministers.

According to him, he greeted a female pastor and embraced her in a hug, but immediately noticed that she appeared to be shaking in an unusual way.

He said that shortly after taking his seat in the auditorium, he began to experience a similar sensation in his own body, despite no prayer session or special activity taking place at the time.

Effiong explained that the feeling intensified unexpectedly, and he eventually lost control and fell to the floor near where he was seated before the service officially began.

He noted that his wife, who was sitting beside him, witnessed the entire incident, and both of them were initially confused about what was happening.

The actor said the experience stayed with him and later prompted deeper reflection about his spiritual journey and personal beliefs, describing it as something he could not easily explain.

He added that, in his understanding, the moment felt beyond ordinary explanation and became part of his broader faith experience.
