Alex Otti Accused Of Just Repainting Roads Built By Orji Kalu – Doris Ogala Speaks Out

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has come out in defense of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu after he criticised Abia State Governor Alex Otti for failing to launch major development projects in the state.

Kalu had accused the current administration of merely repainting roads that were originally constructed during his tenure as governor.

Ogala took to social media to back Kalu, referring to him as her boss and affirming that his statements were accurate. She stressed that the roads being showcased by the current government were actually built under Kalu’s leadership.

She wrote, “What my boss, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, said about Governor Alex Otti is true. Alex Otti is only repainting roads that were originally built by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.”

In other political developments, former Abia State governors Orji Uzor Kalu and Theodore Orji recently held a strategic meeting in Umuahia aimed at consolidating efforts to challenge Governor Alex Otti in the 2027 general election.

Speaking at the gathering on Friday, Kalu explained that the meeting brought together political figures who held office in Abia State between 2009 and 2023, with the aim of forming a unified political bloc. He suggested expanding the group to include all former officeholders from the period, emphasizing that their collective experience and contributions to the state’s development should not be overlooked.

Kalu described the group, known as ‘The Team,’ as having played a crucial role in shaping Abia State during their years in power. He rejected suggestions that previous administrations were irrelevant, arguing that governance is an ongoing process.
