Annie Drops ‘Idibia’ Name In Public, Sparks Buzz At Lagos Nightclub
Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has made it clear that she no longer wishes to be identified by her former husband’s surname, Idibia.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The actress was out at a nightclub when the venue’s LED screen introduced her as Annie Idibia. She immediately noticed the error and requested that her name be corrected to Annie Macaulay.
Annie later shared clips of the moment on her Instagram Stories, highlighting her reaction to the mix-up. In her first post, she stressed that she no longer goes by the Idibia name and prefers to be addressed by her maiden surname.
“Zenbah the other night … no Idibia,” she wrote.
A subsequent video showed the club’s screen updated to reflect her preferred name, Annie Macaulay. Pleased with the correction, she affirmed that the revised display was accurate.
“More like it … 1 Correct!!!” she added.
Meanwhile, Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has opened up about her personal life and dating experiences. Speaking in an interview with Korty EO, the singer revealed that she has only had one truly fulfilling relationship.
According to Tiwa, that relationship ended tragically with the death of her partner. The 45-year-old said that apart from her late lover, her other relationships have not brought her happiness.
“There is hardly any relationship I would look back on and find anything positive. They are all d*cks! Actually, there is one, but he passed away. May his soul rest in peace. He was incredible,” she said.
