In a statement released on Sunday, Lagos APC spokesperson Seye Oladejo said the outcomes demonstrate increasing public confidence in the party’s direction, particularly the Renewed Hope Agenda being pursued at the federal level.

“The results of these by-elections represent a clear and democratic affirmation of President Bola Tinubu’s leadership and the policy trajectory of our great party,” Oladejo stated.

He extended gratitude to voters in Rivers State, Kano State, the Federal Capital Territory, and other regions where the elections took place, describing their participation as a sign of trust in the APC’s reform-focused agenda.

According to the party, the victories achieved by its candidates reflect public approval of the Tinubu administration’s ongoing economic reforms, infrastructure projects, and efforts to strengthen institutions.

“The decisive wins recorded by our candidates reaffirm the electorate’s confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda and the transformative policies being implemented at both federal and state levels,” the statement added.

The Lagos APC also argued that the by-election results signal a clear rejection of opposition parties, which it accused of relying heavily on rhetoric and social media activism instead of presenting practical policy alternatives.

“These outcomes send a strong message that successful governance is not determined by social media popularity or online noise, but by tangible performance and the ability to deliver on promises,” Oladejo said.

The party further dismissed claims that digital influence alone can sway electoral outcomes, emphasizing that real victories are shaped by grassroots mobilisation and voter trust.

Looking ahead, the Lagos APC suggested that the results may indicate strong prospects for the party in the 2027 general elections.

“The momentum demonstrated in these by-elections reflects trust earned through decisive leadership, bold reforms, and unwavering commitment to national development,” the spokesperson noted.

The statement also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting credible elections and praised security agencies for maintaining peace and order during the exercise.

Additionally, the party acknowledged its leaders, campaign teams, and volunteers for their role in grassroots mobilisation.

Reaffirming its support for President Tinubu, the Lagos APC called on Nigerians—including opposition members—to put aside partisan differences and work together to build a united and prosperous nation.
