Bobrisky announced the lawsuit on his Instagram page on Sunday, alleging that VeryDarkMan shared an AI-generated audio recording falsely accusing him of engaging in illicit relationships with high-profile individuals, including politicians and law enforcement officers.

In the lawsuit, Bobrisky’s legal team accused VeryDarkMan of exploiting Bobrisky’s name and influence for personal gain by spreading unverified claims about his involvement with influential figures. The legal statement reads, “Our client has informed us that in your quest for social media stardom, you have continuously exploited his name, personality, and social media influence to generate media buzz for your personal benefit.”

The lawsuit further highlights that VeryDarkMan falsely claimed in a viral video that several Nigerian lawmakers, politicians, and Deputy Inspectors General of Police were having inappropriate relationships with Bobrisky, without providing any evidence.

Bobrisky’s lawyers argue that the defamatory statements have disregarded his mental health, privacy, and constitutional rights. They expressed concern over the reckless and unsubstantiated allegations, calling for VeryDarkMan to retract the claims within 24 hours.

The lawsuit also alleges that VeryDarkMan recently released an AI-generated audio conversation and falsely attributed it to Bobrisky. The legal team stated, “Our client has never had any audio conversation with this individual, and your defamatory and blackmailing actions must be retracted.”

Bobrisky’s legal team is demanding that VeryDarkMan remove the audio recording, issue a public apology in two national newspapers, post a video apology on all social media platforms, and cease any further defamatory content. They also demand ₦1 billion in damages within 24 hours, warning that failure to comply would result in court action.

In a related viral audio, VeryDarkMan alleged that Bobrisky had bribed Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges, which Bobrisky’s lawyers have dismissed as baseless.
