Church Scandal Erupts: Chris Okafor Accused By Ex-Wife Of Sleeping With Relatives
Bessem Agnes Okafor, the former wife of Pastor Chris Okafor, has made fresh allegations against the clergyman, claiming he impregnated multiple women during their marriage.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Her claims come shortly after Okafor alleged that he discovered his ex-wife was unfaithful. Responding during a livestream interview with Aunty Adunni on YouTube, Bessem said she ended the marriage 14 years ago due to what she described as repeated acts of infidelity involving members of the church.
According to her, she left the Lagos-based pastor after he allegedly fathered children with wives of church members, including deaconesses and choir members. She challenged members of the church to conduct DNA tests on their children if they doubted her claims.
Bessem stated that she married Okafor at the age of 18 in a traditional and church ceremony that produced four children—three daughters and a son. She said she chose to walk away from the marriage, not because she was abandoned, but due to what she described as years of shame and humiliation.
She alleged that she stood by him when he had nothing, but accused him of changing after he became financially successful. According to her, the marriage was marked by repeated infidelity, abuse, and disregard for her position as his wife.
Bessem said she remained silent for over a decade out of respect for her children but decided to speak out after what she described as false claims made by Okafor from the pulpit. She further alleged that some of the relationships involved church workers and even a house help she had employed before leaving the marriage, whom she claimed later resigned and returned to her home state due to the situation.
She also accused Okafor of having a long-term relationship with a deaconess in the church, claiming that the woman moved into the house shortly after she left.
All allegations remain claims made by Bessem Agnes Okafor and have not been independently verified.
