Controversy Erupts As Yul Edochie Slams Peter Obi’s ADC Plans

In a post shared on his X account, Yul claimed that any political party Obi aligns with tends to fall apart, suggesting that his current political move would yield no meaningful outcome.

The actor added that Obi’s challenge goes beyond surface issues, expressing surprise that the former Labour Party presidential candidate either does not recognise it or has chosen to overlook it.

He maintained that, in his view, Peter Obi is not positioned to become Nigeria’s president at this time.

He wrote, “Any political party Peter Obi joins will scatter. Whatever he’s doing with ADC is dead on arrival. It’s a waste of time. The issue isn’t physical—it runs deeper.

“I’m surprised he hasn’t realised this, or perhaps he has but is ignoring it. Still, the reality remains: Peter Obi cannot be President of Nigeria now.”

Meanwhile, Yul Edochie recently stirred reactions after criticising some Igbos for attacking fellow kinsmen who support President Bola Tinubu ahead of the next election.

In a post shared on Saturday via X, he condemned the practice, arguing that it is unfair for people in the South-East to target their own while overlooking supporters of the same political stance in other regions.

He questioned why similar criticism is not directed at individuals outside the region who also back Tinubu.
