Deal Sealed!” – Abdulkarim Reveals Obi, Kwankwaso 2027 Alliance

According to Abdulkarim, Kwankwaso has accepted to serve as Obi’s running mate in the 2027 presidential election.

He made this known during an interview on Trust TV, stating that both the Obidient Movement and the Kwankwassiyya Movement are already working towards a joint Obi–Kwankwaso ticket.

When asked directly if the two politicians had reached an agreement, Abdulkarim responded that the deal was already in place and known among their supporters.

He added that both political camps are aware of the arrangement and are aligning ahead of the 2027 elections.

Kwankwaso’s recent defection from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has further fueled speculation about a possible alliance between the two leaders.

Meanwhile, Yunusa Tanko, spokesperson to Peter Obi, has maintained that any party aiming for victory in 2027 should zone its presidential ticket to the South.

Speaking on Politics Today on Channels Television, Tanko argued that respecting the current power rotation would boost electoral chances against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He stressed that zoning the presidency to the South would increase the likelihood of success, warning that any deviation could weaken the chances of parties like the ADC.

Tanko also encouraged Nigerians to independently assess the political climate, insisting that public sentiment supports his position as discussions around zoning and power rotation continue ahead of the 2027 election.
