The agency had summoned the singer after he claimed during a live Instagram session that he had engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl. However, Speed Darlington failed to respond to the invitation, prompting NAPTIP to declare him wanted.

In a video posted on his Instagram page on Monday, Speed Darlington accused NAPTIP of using his name to chase clout, insisting he has committed no crime. He acknowledged that his remarks in the viral video were reckless but maintained they were not criminal.
