Aliero told attendees:

“His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris, the only Comrade Governor in the country, has graciously approved a ₦30 million cash donation to support the organising committee of this event. As always, the funds are available in cash and will be presented before I leave the stage.”

However, Pastor Enenche respectfully declined the donation, advising that the money should instead be redirected to charitable causes such as orphanages or other public welfare initiatives.

In his words:

“Please channel the funds to any orphanage or public cause you deem fit. It will not be received. We strongly believe that government funds should be used for government projects, and church funds should be for church purposes — the two should not be mixed.”

He further emphasized that the Dunamis ministry maintains complete financial independence, stating:

“Even the Glory Dome — from the land to the structure — was built without a single kobo of government money. This is so we can preserve the dignity of the Church, remain accountable, and freely speak the truth when needed.”

Responding to the rejection, Aliero acknowledged Pastor Enenche’s stance and expressed gratitude:

“We respect his position. It shows he is doing the work of God sincerely, and we appreciate all he is doing for our state.”
