Fayose made the renewed allegation in a post shared on his handle on Tuesday.
Recall that he had earlier accused Governor Makinde of plotting to remove the monarch, alleging that the process would begin with official queries issued against him.
In his earlier post on Sunday, Fayose claimed that the initial step of the alleged plan would involve a query accusing the Olubadan of failing to attend a recent coronation ceremony in Ibadan.
In his latest statement, the former governor further alleged that there is an ongoing rift between Governor Makinde and Oba Ladoja.
He also claimed that the Olubadan is being accused of plotting to impeach the governor, adding that government statements may soon be released portraying the monarch as partisan.
According to Fayose, these developments are part of a calculated move to justify issuing queries against the traditional ruler.
He wrote that those still doubting the alleged plan should watch unfolding events closely, insisting that earlier denials of a rift have now been contradicted by recent accusations.
Fayose also alleged that claims of the Olubadan’s political involvement are being orchestrated to set the stage for disciplinary action.
Meanwhile, the Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Gbenga Oyekola, has denied any involvement of lawmakers in alleged impeachment plans against Governor Makinde.
Both Governor Seyi Makinde and Oba Rashidi Ladoja have also dismissed claims suggesting any move to remove the Olubadan from office.
