Businessman Olakunle Churchill has spoken out after his former wife, actress Tonto Dikeh, announced that they have put an end to their long-running feud and restored peace after nearly a decade of conflict.
In an emotional social media post, Churchill revealed that he was deeply moved after receiving a phone call from their son, King Andre, for the first time. He said hearing the child call him “daddy” was a powerful moment that reinforced his faith and patience.
According to him, the issues that once strained his relationship with Dikeh have now been resolved through forgiveness, healing and mutual understanding. He noted that the painful chapter has been closed, allowing both parents to move forward with calmness and respect.
Churchill said their priority is now centred on co-parenting with love and care, united by a shared commitment to raising their son in a peaceful and supportive environment. He expressed gratitude for being reunited with his child and commended Dikeh for her dedication to caring for him.
“I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from my son, King Andre, for the first time. Hearing him call me ‘Daddy’ was deeply touching and a reminder that nothing is impossible with God,” he wrote.
“Faith brings clarity, humility and peace. With God leading, healing and understanding became possible. Forgiveness opened the door to a new chapter, and we are now moving forward with mutual respect. The conflict is behind us, and our focus is on co-parenting with love, care and a shared commitment to our son.
“I am grateful to have my son back in my life, and I thank the amazing mother of my child, Tonto Dikeh, for doing a great job.”
Earlier, Tonto Dikeh had confirmed that she and Churchill had reconciled, describing the reunion as a spiritual breakthrough achieved through prayer, humility and forgiveness. She said peace has replaced the bitterness that followed their separation and affirmed that both parents are now united in prioritising their son’s well-being.
Dikeh and Churchill got married in 2015 but parted ways less than two years later amid public disputes and legal battles over custody and other issues. Their son, King Andre, was at the centre of the conflict until the recent reconciliation brought healing to the family.
