Full Text: Donald Trump’s Statement On US War Against Iran Revealed
United States President Donald Trump announced a major military operation against Iran on Saturday, following coordinated strikes by the US and Israel.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a video address, Trump vowed to “annihilate” Iran’s navy and missile infrastructure and called on Iranians to overthrow their government. He emphasized that the mission aims to dismantle the Islamic Republic’s military capabilities and remove the authorities who have ruled since the 1979 revolution.
Full Text of Trump’s Statement:
Earlier today, the United States military commenced major combat operations in Iran. Our goal is to protect the American people by neutralizing imminent threats posed by the Iranian regime, a violent and ruthless organization.
For 47 years, Iran has repeatedly threatened the United States and engaged in acts of terror targeting our troops, allies, and civilians worldwide. Their aggression includes the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran, holding American hostages for 444 days, the 1983 Marine barracks bombing in Beirut that killed 241 US service members, the attack on USS Cole in 2000, and ongoing assaults against US forces and vessels in the Middle East.
From Lebanon to Yemen, Syria to Iraq, Iran has armed, funded, and trained terrorist militias, causing widespread bloodshed. Their proxies, including Hamas, were behind the brutal October 7 attacks on Israel, which killed over 1,000 civilians, including 46 Americans, and took 12 US citizens hostage.
Iran remains the world’s top state sponsor of terror and has recently killed tens of thousands of its own citizens protesting for freedom. The United States has always opposed a nuclear-armed Iran. My administration has destroyed key nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan during Operation Midnight Hammer last June, warning the regime not to resume its nuclear ambitions. Despite repeated efforts at diplomacy, Iran continued developing long-range missiles and pursuing nuclear weapons.
We cannot allow this. The US military is executing a large-scale operation to prevent this radical dictatorship from threatening America or destabilizing the region. We will destroy their missile infrastructure, annihilate their navy, and neutralize terrorist proxies. We will prevent Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon.
To all US service members: we pray for your safety as you risk your lives to protect Americans and prevent a nuclear-armed Iran. Your courage ensures the security of our nation and our allies.
To the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, military forces, and police: you have a choice—lay down your arms and receive full immunity, or face certain death.
And to the people of Iran: the hour of your freedom has arrived. Stay indoors, protect yourselves, and when the time comes, seize control of your government. America stands with you with overwhelming strength and decisive force.
