In an interview with media personality Ifedayo Agoro, Blessing revealed that she was once ridiculed on social media because of her teeth.
The actress, who is a mother of one, explained that the harsh comments began during her first wedding anniversary photo shoot. According to her, some online users criticised her for laughing too much and even described her dentition as unattractive.
Blessing, who is married to fellow actor Stan Nze, said the trolling motivated her to improve her smile, and she now feels much more confident about her appearance. She added that the mockery ultimately pushed her to achieve the smile she proudly has today.
She also spoke about working with her husband in the movie industry, noting that many people wrongly assume that collaborating with him is always fun and that she does not need to pay him when they are on the same project.
Blessing clarified that her husband is paid like every other professional actor on set.
She further explained that from the start of their relationship, they both understood that they were a team, standing together against the world. She emphasised that their marriage is built on support, partnership, and mutual commitment, adding that she has no issue spending money on her husband when necessary.
In her words:
“They mocked me during my first anniversary. They said I should stop laughing and that my dentition was bad. But now my teeth are fine — it was the trolling that pushed me to improve.
“People also say I’m enjoying because I don’t need to pay my husband when we work together. That’s not true, my husband gets paid. From the beginning, we’ve always known it’s me and you against the world, and I can spend on him.”
