I’d Be A Fool To Call APC A Party Of Saints” – Keyamo Speaks Candidly

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has stated that it would be unrealistic to describe the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a party made up of saints.

In a post shared on his handle on Saturday, Keyamo maintained that no political party can claim moral perfection. He, however, insisted that the APC remains a better option for Nigerians compared to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Referencing an interview he granted in 2017, Keyamo said parts of his remarks were edited to remove the section where he acknowledged that the APC was not a “party of saints.” He reiterated that position, describing it as a statement of fact.

According to him, anyone who portrays their political party as flawless would be deceiving themselves.

Despite acknowledging imperfections within the APC, Keyamo argued that the party still represents the country’s best path forward and warned against a return to what he described as the PDP era, noting that some former figures from that period are now seeking the presidency.

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that Tinubu did not align with the PDP during that time.
