Speaking during a recent media chat, the singer recounted a lighthearted disagreement with a friend over who is more attractive between British rapper Skepta and actor Aaron Pierre. She explained that she was scrolling through social media, trying to prove her point by showing off Skepta’s photos.

As she did this, her son noticed and asked what she was up to. She jokingly replied that she was showing her “baby daddy,” a comment that immediately caught his attention.

Jamil quickly objected, telling her she shouldn’t have a baby daddy and instead deserves to be married. His response took her by surprise, and although she questioned him, he remained firm, making it clear he wants her to settle down.

Recalling the moment, she said she had been enthusiastically defending Skepta during the debate, flipping through his Instagram photos to convince her friend. That was when her son interrupted and asked what she was showing. After her playful response, he insisted she should have a husband instead.

Jamil is her only child from her previous marriage to Tunji Balogun, popularly known as TeeBillz. The pair married in 2013 in a widely publicized ceremony within Nigeria’s entertainment scene.

However, their relationship later faced serious challenges, which became public and eventually led to their separation in 2016. Despite going their separate ways, both parents have remained committed to co-parenting their son.
