At 61 years old, Pastor Ize-Iyamu brings a wealth of experience to the table, having served as a Former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff (COS), and a distinguished lawyer. In sharing his journey, Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu, reflected on his roots and spiritual path, stating; “My name is Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu, I usually try to be silent about Andrew, because I am not an English man. Growing up as a child, I know that my parents also added Andrew to my name probably because I also went to a catholic primary school, St Joseph Primary School and by the grace of God today I am a pastor of the redeem Christian church of God. I am the pastor In Charge of Edo province Sixteen which means that I supervise zones, areas and parishes, 89 parishes are under me for ease of supervision some of them are under areas and areas are under zone and zones are under provincial pastor and I am the provincial pastor.”
In articulating his multifaceted journey, he affirmed; “I am lawyer by the Grace of God, I went to the University of Benin, I graduated and from there I went to Law School, I am also a politician and farmer I am the owner of large farm which seats on a 18 hectares at Amagba and has subsequently trained thousands of people from various part of the country.”
Delving into his educational journey, Ize-Iyamu expressed; “I went to primary school in Benin, I went to a premier secondary School, Edo college and from there I went to University of Benin, so when people describe me as a home boy so there are actually correct. The only time I had to leave Benin was when i had to do my Law School in Lagos, and you know if there was a law school in Benin I would have gladly done it in Benin.”
