Legal Tension: Otudeko’s Counsel Battles Alleged ₦12.3 Billion Fraud Claims

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Bode Olanipekun, informed the court that his objection stemmed from the failure to formally serve the charges to Otudeko and his two co-defendants.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed a 13-count charge against Otudeko, former First Bank Plc. Managing Director Olabisi Onasanya, and former Honeywell board member Soji Akintayo.
Olanipekun is representing all three defendants, as well as Anchorage Leisure Ltd., a company also named in the case.
The EFCC alleges that the defendants fraudulently obtained the funds.
