Popular Nigerian singer Chike Ezekpeazu has accused a social media user, Chioma Nneoma Ochibili, of allegedly defrauding him of $20,000.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The singer disclosed on Monday that he had given the money to Ochibili for what he believed was a legitimate business opportunity. However, he claimed that she failed to fulfil her promises after receiving the funds.
Chike said he later realised that the arrangement might have been a scam and warned his followers to be cautious about engaging in any business dealings with the woman.
According to him, the issue is not necessarily the details of the proposed business, but the possibility that the venture may not exist at all, which he believes amounts to fraud.
He also stated that he has begun taking steps to recover the money he claims to have lost.
As of the time of this report, Ochibili has not publicly responded to the allegations.
In his post, the singer expressed frustration over the situation, stating that he had trusted the deal and only realised later that he might have been deceived.
