Adesiyan made the claim during an interview on state affairs with Edmund Obilo, asserting that Deji Adeleke wields decisive influence over the state’s political leadership. “Deji Adeleke is the governor. Who is Ademola Adeleke? Can he truly govern? Deji is the one in charge,” he stated bluntly.
He also claimed that Deji Adeleke’s influence in Osun politics is longstanding, dating back to the tenure of his late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke. “I served under his brother when he was in government, and I knew the influence Deji had over him,” Adesiyan added.
According to the former minister, Deji Adeleke’s immense business and economic power translates into significant sway over the political structure of Osun State.
