Political Firestorm: Fani-Kayode Blasts ADC As Haven For Discredited Politicians

In a post on his Facebook page, the former Aviation Minister dismissed the ADC as a credible opposition, arguing that the party lacks the capacity to contribute meaningfully to national development.
He further claimed that opposition parties in Nigeria have largely lost relevance, failing in their responsibility to hold the government accountable due to persistent internal divisions and conflicts.
Fani-Kayode also faulted opposition figures for engaging in infighting instead of presenting a united front, noting that their lack of unity has weakened their effectiveness.
According to him, the ADC is not a true opposition platform but a group driven by ambition, adding that ongoing disputes among opposition members have left them unable to perform their role or challenge the government effectively.
