Rivers Shake-Up: Fubara Appoints 9 Commissioners – Full List Revealed

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has submitted the names of nine nominees to the Rivers State House of Assembly for confirmation as Commissioners and members of the State Executive Council.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In response, the House has directed the nominees to provide the necessary documentation ahead of their screening and confirmation process.

The instruction was conveyed in a special government announcement released on Tuesday and signed by the Clerk of the House, Dr. Emeka Amadi.

According to the notice, each nominee is required to submit forty copies of their Curriculum Vitae, photocopies of their academic and professional credentials, as well as proof of tax compliance.

“All documents are to be submitted to the Office of the Clerk at the Assembly Quarters of the Rivers State House of Assembly,” the statement stated.

Those listed for the screening exercise include:

• Mr. Tonye Bellgam

• Professor Temple Nwofor

• Dr. Peters Nwagor

• Mrs. Charity Deemua

• Tamuno Williams, Esq.

• Mr. Lekue Kenneth

• Otonye TKD Amachree, Esq.

• Sir Amairigha Edward Hart

After submitting the required documents, the nominees will appear before the lawmakers for screening, following which the Assembly will deliberate and determine whether to confirm them as members of the Rivers State Executive Council.
