Nollywood actress and influencer Sarah Martins has raised concerns over what she described as continued harassment and insulting messages allegedly sent by a dispatch rider she once assisted.

According to reports, Sarah took to her Instagram page to recount her previous encounter with the dispatch rider, claiming that she initially reported him to the company he worked for after he allegedly harassed her following a delivery.

She explained that the company subsequently reprimanded and suspended him, while he later claimed to have been dismissed from his job. Sarah, however, said that claim was not true.

The actress said she later faced criticism from Nigerians over the incident and eventually decided to reach out to the dispatch rider out of sympathy.

According to her account, she took him out for lunch and went shopping with him. However, she said she eventually distanced herself after allegedly noticing what she considered an entitled attitude.

Sarah further disclosed that a fan later gave her a motorcycle intended for the dispatch rider. She said the motorcycle required approximately ₦150,000 in repairs, while repainting it would cost about ₦350,000.

She said she agreed to take care of the necessary repairs but asked the dispatch rider to wait before taking possession of the motorcycle. However, she alleged that he insisted on taking it immediately, prompting her to allow him to take the bike while giving him ₦20,000.

Sarah added that she asked him to give her some days to send the remaining money after she had paid the salaries of more than 13 workers.

According to the actress, the situation later escalated when the man allegedly began calling her repeatedly and sending messages after she stopped answering his calls.

She claimed that some of the messages contained insults and comments about her marital status, including an alleged statement suggesting that she would never find a husband.

“This guy started calling me as if I was owing him. When I stopped picking his call, he started sending me messages, insulting me, marriage-shaming me, saying, ‘That’s why I no go ever see husband,’” she alleged.

Expressing concern over the alleged messages, Sarah said she felt her safety could be at risk and issued a stern warning against any further communication of that nature.

“I feel like my life is under threat. This is a direct warning to you. If you ever send me any message like this again, I will use every connection I have to deal with you,” she said.
