Sh*cking Revelation: Chris Okafor Explains Why He Divorced His First Wife

The founder of Grace Nation Global, also known as Liberation City, Chris Okafor, has spoken publicly about the circumstances that led to the end of his first marriage.

The cleric, who has recently faced public attention, explained the events that resulted in the breakdown of the relationship during an interview with Vanguard.

According to him, the marriage collapsed after he allegedly found his wife with another man inside his home. He said the incident deeply hurt him and ultimately led to the separation.

Okafor stated that although his mother urged him to forgive his wife and reconsider his decision, he was unable to continue the marriage due to the emotional impact of what transpired.

He added that the divorce was later formalised through legal proceedings in Lagos State and concluded at a customary court on September 18, 2014, under suit number IKJCC0172014.

He said, “I divorced my first wife because I caught her with a man in my house, and it was because of my mother who kept saying, my son, forgive.”
