Hailing from Ogwashi-Uku in Delta State, Ify detailed the allegations in a lengthy Facebook post, describing repeated instances of infidelity by her former husband during their marriage.

She claimed that some of these affairs occurred while they were still legally and traditionally married, and that the alleged involvement of Nancy Isime and Sylvia Nduka caused immense pain, shame, and turmoil in her home.

According to Ify, the continuous cheating, combined with emotional pressure and acts of violence, gradually eroded the marriage, leaving her mentally and emotionally exhausted.

She also alleged that her husband’s misconduct extended beyond infidelity, exposing her to physical assaults, emotional abuse, threats, and controlling behavior, making her life unsafe and unstable.

Ify added that last year, when she fell seriously ill, her ex-husband abandoned her and their three children. She explained that she repeatedly pleaded for his help—not due to unwillingness to work, but because she was unwell and solely responsible for caring for the children.

She further claimed that every time she and the children began to recover and settle, her former husband would return and create new problems, a pattern she says occurred both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

While in Nigeria, she alleged, he often refused to provide for the children’s needs, or would agree temporarily before abruptly stopping support.
