In an interview with media personality Odira Ndubuaku, Mercy stated that she would willingly give up her fame in exchange for $2 billion. She explained that such wealth would allow her to secure a comfortable life, including owning an island home and providing for her family.
According to her, fame without financial stability holds little value. She added that if presented with the right offer, she would not hesitate to sell off her social media presence and live a more private life.

In a related development, BBNaija Season 6 winner WhiteMoney (Hazel Oyeze Onou) has taken aim at fellow reality stars Mercy Eke and Maria Chike Benjamin.
During a TikTok live session, WhiteMoney made remarks about their personal lives and career choices, mocking Mercy and criticising aspects of her lifestyle, including her cosmetic procedures.
He also directed comments at Maria, warning her against joining the livestream and suggesting it could expose her in ways she might regret.
WhiteMoney further referenced his experience with Mercy during the BBNaija “All Stars” edition, linking their interactions to his eventual eviction from the show.
