According to the incident reportedly occurred on November 11, 2025, shortly after Arimoro’s contract was said to have expired at 11:59 PM. He claims he was prevented from leaving the location.
Arimoro alleges that his car was initially stopped by the production manager, and a second vehicle later blocked the exit entirely.
Feeling threatened, he said he began an Instagram Live stream to document the situation.
The confrontation escalated at the estate gate, where Ovire and her team allegedly approached him. Arimoro claims his tyres were deflated, he was surrounded by several individuals, and he sustained injuries that included a fractured jaw, bite marks, and bruises.
He further alleges that his phone was tampered with during the encounter.
Arimoro’s legal team argues that the alleged events infringed upon his rights to personal liberty, free movement, and human dignity, resulting in emotional distress and financial losses.
They are demanding both the ₦100 million compensation and a public video apology posted across all of Ovire’s social media platforms.
Ovire was reportedly given seven days to respond, but has not issued any public statement regarding the claims.
Arimoro captioned his post:
“@peggyovire PRE-ACTION NOTICE. In light of the incident referenced in this correspondence, you have been served. Kindly forward all responses to my solicitors as indicated.”
