Tension Soars: Rufai Alleges EU Nations Reject Trump’s Push Against Iran

Nigerian television anchor Rufai Oseni has expressed the view that European Union countries are unlikely to support United States President Donald Trump in any potential conflict with Iran.

Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show, Oseni explained that some EU nations, including France and Denmark, have reportedly reached agreements with Iran that allow their vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without interference.

He suggested that because these countries already have working arrangements in place, they may be reluctant to back any action that could disrupt their access to the strategic waterway.

Oseni also argued that Trump’s relationship with European allies has been strained, which could further reduce the likelihood of their cooperation in such a situation.

According to him, many EU nations are prioritizing their existing agreements and may not be willing to align with the United States if it threatens those arrangements.

He added that ongoing tensions between the U.S. and its allies, as well as disagreements over international issues, could make it more difficult for Washington to gain broader support.

Oseni further pointed to concerns within NATO and past disagreements involving countries like Ukraine as factors contributing to the current dynamics in global relations.
