Tinubu, Shettima Lead APC Elite In Show Of Political Muscle At PGF Gathering

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) Renewed Hope Ambassadors Summit 2026 on Tuesday.

The summit, themed “Taking Renewed Hope to the Grassroots,” will take place on February 24, 2026, at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, starting at 11:00 a.m. The event is organized by the Progressive Governors Forum and will be strictly by invitation.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is also expected to attend as a Special Guest, while Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will participate as Guest of Honour.

The summit aims to strengthen party structures and enhance grassroots engagement around the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.

A wide array of political and governmental figures are expected, including:

• Members of the APC National Working Committee

• Leadership of the National Assembly, including the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives

• Former governors

• Members of the Federal Executive Council and heads of ministries, departments, and agencies

• Speakers of State Houses of Assembly

• APC state chairmen, secretaries, and leaders of women and youth wings

• Zonal and state coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors structure

• State government delegations, including Secretaries to State Governments and Commissioners for Information, Youth Development, and Women Affairs
