Speaking during an appearance on Arise News on Thursday, Ulasi said internal divisions and contradictions within the PDP remain a major problem. He argued that with Nyesom Wike seen as a dominant force in the party, he does not believe the PDP, as currently constituted, can produce a credible candidate capable of challenging Tinubu.

He also warned that unless those contradictions are properly addressed, he may be forced to reconsider his place in the party.

Ulasi, however, praised former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, describing him as a leader with a clear vision for Nigeria. According to him, conversations with Obi inspire hope, as he appears to have a defined understanding of what he wants to achieve for the country.

He added that he has known Obi for years and remains impressed by his political ideas and commitment to national progress.
